Preserving North Dakota’s Prehistory
Partners in Paleo
Since 1983, the The North Dakota Geological Survey Paleontology Program (NDGS Paleontology) has promoted public understanding of the importance of North Dakota’s fossil resources through educational and outreach activities including the public fossil dig program, fossil exhibits, tours, and presentations.
Friends of NDGS Paleo, a 501(c)(3) organization, was established in 2020 to support NDGS Paleontology, the Public Fossil Dig Program, field and lab work, and fossil exhibits in North Dakota.

We are currently seeking sponsorships for the 2022 Public Fossil Digs!
It is our mission to keep this once-in-a-lifetime education opportunity accessible to everyone, regardless of income level. With rising costs of supplies and transportation, we are looking to our sponsors to help keep digs affordable for all participants.
Sponsors will be highlighted on social media, our website, and all related print material and press-releases. In addition, upper-level sponsor logos will be featured on the staff uniform shirts, worn daily, and seen by all participants, and on the fossil dig banners which are displayed throughout the dig season and at special paleontology-related events throughout the year.
